We place a high value on the therapeutic relationship and the environment in which therapy takes place.  We welcome each client into a safe space where they will be SEEN and HEARD without judgment.  Our primary goal in each session is to listen carefully, weave compassion into the client’s story and help them discover clarity through the experience.

While we bring a variety of therapeutic modalities to each counseling situation, our overarching approach is the Internal Family Systems model (IFS).

Internal Family Systems, or IFS, was developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz.  The IFS model is designed to help individuals who struggle with self-esteem issues, feelings of worthlessness, and anxiety by freeing you to relate to yourself differently.  IFS therapy gives you tools so that you can become more aware of your behavior and transform a critical internal voice into a supportive one.  It frees you from self-defeating patterns and impulses so that you can find inner peace and the ability to love and care for yourself.
